Irrigation

In the spring, perform the initial start up of the irrigation system in the months of April or May. Upon priming of the lines, the system will be run and inspected to insure proper head function, and for any visible leaks. It is recommended that irrigation systems be checked at least twice during the season to assure the continued proper functioning of the system. During a mid season inspection, the system will be run and again monitored to assure proper head function, and for any visible leaks. Winterization of the irrigation system will be performed during the months of October or November.

Gutter Cleaning

In the fall professionally remove all gathered debris from the gutters and the downspouts. All resulting debris will be bagged and hauled off site for disposal. It is recommended that this process be repeated twice, once in late spring following the drop of the pollen fronds, and again in the early fall, following the samara drop of the maples.

Mature Tree Care

On sites with mature native stands of trees, monitor those trees throughout the season for general health and insect population. Recommend, as needed, dead wooding, cabling, root zone fertilization and aeration, pest control, and general care to assure the continued vitality of the stand.

As needed, to assure the safety of the home and its residents, it may be necessary to remove mature trees. Our firm can assist in this process. When performed, all resulting wood can be cut and left for the resident to burn in their wood burning fire place, or removed and properly disposed of.

Pond and Fountain Maintenance

In the early spring, perform a general clean up of ponds and fountains. Winter water will be drained, accumulated debris removed, and the basin will be cleaned. The system will be recharged and filled. The system will be checked to assure proper function and that no leaks have developed. The pump systems will be checked periodically throughout the season to assure the continued proper function. Monthly the water body will be policed for debris buildup and monitored for water quality.
